First Dental Visit Palo Alto

First Dental Visit

Your child’s pediatrician and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommend that your child be seen for their first dental visit by age one, or six months after their first tooth erupts. As Palo Alto’s premiere pediatric dental office, we are passionate about a child’s first dental visit as it is the beginning of a lifetime of fun dental visits. We have rooms specifically designed to accommodate infants, young children, and their parents! At this visit, we will:

  • Review infant oral health
  • Discuss important milestones
  • Discuss practical preventive strategies
  • Educate oral habits
  • Review injury prevention
  • Answer any questions parents may have regarding their child’s oral health
